The newest in the Saroyan collection, these brass Ghawazee zills have a clear mellow tone in contrast to the higher pitched bronze, and even higher pitched german silver Ghawazees. An excellent choice for tribal dancers that prefer a zil that is slightly smaller than the Afghani series.
After a considerable research, Saroyan designed these cymbals identical to the shape and weight of an original set of Ghawazee cymbals that are no longer manufactured in the Middle East. Stamped by a rich circular design these cymbals are very unique and recommended for tribal and fusion dancing. High pitch and clear tone, approximately 2-1/2″ in diameter, and weigh 188 grams (6.64 oz.). Each set contains 4 (four) cymbals and heavy duty elastic.
